So, after many difficult days with Nathan, I decided to get out of the house. We ended up at Target, where I saw this book. Since I started reading it, I have had much more patience with Nathan. I'm not sure if the book is that great, but it makes me feel better to know that these problems I am having aren't that strange, or else they wouldn't have written a whole book about it! :) So I am feeling a little bit better about Nathan's struggles... throwing food, having tantrums, eating with his hands, talking, not talking, sleeping, etc...
We also got this book for Nathan. He absolutely loves it, and he already has at least 10 new words. It's really fun, and he spends forever looking at it and pointing at the pictures.I feel like things are getting a little bit easier. I have also committed to having more of a schedule, and taking Nathan outside the house for more activities.
I think we will try out the "Kangaroo Zoo" this week. I've never been there, but heard that it is fun for kids. Hopefully Nathan isn't too young to really enjoy it.
If anyone else has ideas about how to keep a toddler entertained ALL DAY without watching too much TV, be sure to let me know!!
